The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is an action role-playing video game set in an open world environment, developed by CD Projekt RED. It was released on May 19th, 2015, for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
In the third installment to The Witcher series, Geralt of Rivia sets out one last time to slay monsters and collect bounties before settling down with his one true love, the medic-turned-hedge knight Shani.
The game has many side quests that can be completed in no particular order. However, some will become unavailable depending on Geralt’s choice of certain main story missions.
With this said, there are still plenty of side quests that can be done regardless of the order they are accepted.
The following guide will help guide players through these side quests and help them to complete The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt 100% as intended by the developers.
The guide is written for a player who has completed the story but may also prove useful to those at a complete loss as to what to do next.
who is Shani:
Shani is a medic and a former Child of the Elder blood who was turned into a vampire. In The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, she can be found at her house in Novigrad.
Where is Shani’s House located?
Shani’s house location is from Hierarch Square; after going through the guarded door, turn right. Continue past the brothel and up the stairs marked with a wooden sign.
Shani’s house is on the left side of her clinic across from Clara’s; if Geralt enters through the front door, he will have to return around back to enter her room.
Shani can be found inside her home between 9 AM and 5 PM; she will also stay at her clinic if she is not at home.
Once Geralt has completed the main quest, A Deadly Plot, Shani will leave Novigrad to go back to Oxenfurt but returns after Geralt completes Now or Never and leaves the city with Triss.
Shani’s side quest consists of helping her to prepare for her medical exams, which require five alchemical ingredients.
Shani’s side quest requires level two in order to start. However, it can be completed at any time, even if Shani is leaving Novigrad.
Although it should be noted that completing this side quest will trigger the Now or Never main quest where Geralt must choose between Shani and Triss.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is a great RPG that allows players to choose how they wish to play. Shani plays a vital role in the story quests, and it is good to know that she will stay in Novigrad until Geralt has completed all of her side quests.
